In the mist of our chaos we decided to go camping with Jer's family. We left early Friday morning and spent Memorial Day weekend in LaConner. It was beautiful. Our campgrounds was right along the water. Kausten loved the whole experience. We were outside most of the time and spent a far amount of time by the water. There was only one meltdown, and we are chalking it up to the heat, sun, and time for a nap. He didn't sleep the greatest, but we have been having issues with sleeping lately. Not sure if that is due to the longer days and early sunrises, a growth spurt or two year molars. Hopefully the new house has darker rooms, or I will be buying a black out shade for Kausten's room. Thanks again to Vic and Delaine for having us.
A pair of bald eagles. They were so pretty. I love my zoom lens.
This poor little crab. Kausten held him next, and then into the bucket he went. We did return him to his home a little later.
He was so excited to hold the crabs. Thank goodness they didn't pinch him.

Looks like you guys had a great time! Yeah, what a crazy time to pack for camping...when you are already packing to move! Then do you even unpack the camping stuff, just to repack it??? Can't wait for our camping trip- just a little over a month!
How fun! ! You'll have to go to Larabee Park or Birch Bay with us next time you are here. Can't wait to see you guys again.
