Nisqually Wildlife Refugee

March is proving to have beautiful weather also, and with only 2 weeks left to go before this little one comes, we are trying to do as much as possible. Yesterday was no exception. We live less than 5 miles from a lot of great things, one being this wildlife refugee. There is a mile boardwalk trail and it is stunning. Kausten actually walked the whole thing. We saw a river otter, big fat bumble bees, new growth and budding flowers, and a ton of geese and ducks. It was a wonderful slooooow walk that we both enjoyed.

One of the river otters we saw. He even stopped and looked us before continuing along. Kausten loved all the great animals and bugs we saw.

Great pictures, Kaustens haircut makes him look so big! ! He is going to fit that big brother role perfect here pretty soon.

We missed all the good stuff by going to look at houses! Oh well- we'll be there soon enough! Kausten will have to show the girls all of the neat things in Washington!
