We are so excited to be in Texas enjoying the great company of some wonderful friends. Tina and Josh offered us their companion fare tickets while Jeremy was still in Iraq. And we so took them up on their offer. A week in Texas and a day a Sea World = a great week away. We had a wonderful time visiting with them. We spent hours talking and laughing, and still had time for SeaWorld, the Texas State Fair, The pumpkin Patch, Six Flags (josh and jeremy had a boys day), not to mention eating dinner with Tawnya and Tyler and their families. SUCH a great time.
Kausten got to ride his first rides...and he loved them. Jeremy and I for sure thought he was going to freak out. He first did a little train one, next some jeeps that went up and down in the air, and then the airplanes. He was so excited, and a little distracted trying to figure out how they worked. The adults ate way to much food...corn dogs, fried cookie dough, fried Frito pie, fried cheese curds, water, and then a frozen lemonade. Do you see the trend for the day!!! Everything is fried I tell ya, they even had fried beer. ewww.
