Our Family Christmas

The only bummer to celebrating Christmas up North, is that we open presents last. But at least it is slow paced and we take our time. POOR Kausten had been waiting patiently to open them and had to wait til after dinner. Jeremy found all of Emmalyn's presents and Kausten gave them to her. About the 5th present he became a little upset and states, "SHE'S TAKING THEM ALL." We laughed so hard. It was a classic Kausten moment.

This year was fun for me to buy presents, knowing there were things he wanted and would just be so excited about. He got a leapster, v-tech laptop, books, leapster games, chalk mat....but the one thing he was the most excited about was a wooden truck that carries cars. He really could of just gotten this present and been happy. Silly boy. Emmalyn got a new sweatshirt, ball popper, books, pink cowboy boots and a light up lady bug.

We had such a wonderful time just the four of us. And to be so blessed as to have 3 Christmas' in a row together. There are so many others not as fortunate. So as we bring in this New Year we pray for health, happiness, joy and peace for our Family, Friends, Fellow Military Friends, and for our troops out there serving as I type this.
