So this week has been a very trying one. Kausten came home with a cold this last time we stayed with my parents, and well I seem to have gotten it on Wednesday. This is my first cold since around 7 months pregnant. Not bad. Kausten had a cold at 6 weeks, but nothing since. The ear infection came after a runny nose one day. But this is the first hacking cough he has had. Needless to say we both have been miserable and cooped up in the house, so we ventured out today to the lake. It was gorgeous. Jody and Amelia joined us. Amelia wasn't as excited about the water, but the poor thing tripped early on and got a little wet to fast. Kausten didn't mind the water, but he was more interested in eating the rocks.
Stay tuned as tomorrow we are off to Ocean shores for the Sand and Sawdust competitions. And the weather is suppose to be in the mid 80's. Yeah!!!
